[11 November 2016 - Hong Kong] Chinlink International Holdings Limited (“Chinlink”, HKSE Stock Code: 0997) participated in the Green Office Awards Labelling Scheme (“GOALS”) ganised by Wld Green ganisation (“WGO”)  is pleased to announce that Chinlink was awarded the WGO’s “Green Office” Label  the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (“UNSDG”) “Better Wld Company” Label presented by Juni Chamber International Hong Kong, the ce suppting ganization of the GOALS at the Autumn 2016 GOALS Awards Presentation Ceremony on 11 November 2016 (Today). WGO is an independent non-governmental ganisation concerned with environmental conservation  environmentally related livelihood  economic affairs. In der to raise local business’ awareness on the global environmental challenges addressed in UNSDG, WGO first initiated a programme of GOALS in 2013, the objectives of the programme were to recognize the companies who had made effts to implement environmental protection measures in their office, to educate the Hong Kong businesses on environmental protection  sustainability, so as to facilitate them to improve their office environment  to help them uate their environmental footprint. Under GOALS, there are all together 150 feasible green criteria which have been grouped into the following 9 categies: Energy savings, Water savings, Waste reduction, Paper/Printing saving, Green procurement, IT use  disposal, Transptation, Education  awareness,  Green innovation. Chinlink perfmed satisfactily in Energy savings, Waste reduction  Paper/Printing saving categies,  this is the first time of Chinlink being awarded. During the past years, Chinlink  its subsidiaries (collectively the “Group”) has been devoted in implementing green office measures in operations to reduce carbon emission. Started from fundamental actions such as double sided printing, paper reusing  recycling, unnecessary electronic equipment shuts down when leaving office, use of Fest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified paper on cpate publications, etc., the Group also extended the efft in arousing the staff’s awareness on environmental protection in the ways of incpating green elements in various social service activities, inviting staff to participate in green wkshops  sharing green ideas in cpate newsletters  posters, etc. Mr. Siu Wai Yip, utive Direct of Chinlink, commented, “We are truly honoured that Chinlink is awarded the two meaningful labels - ‘Green Office’ Label  ‘Better Wld Company’ Label, in recognising the Group’s long-term commitment  efft on environmental conservation.
